About "Working Around The Table"
Working Around The Table is a multidisciplinary live design studio that observes and reveals the work processes of leading contemporary designers. Drawn from various design fields, the designers maintain a shared routine of creation — working side by side, influencing one another, and responding in real time to current events, to AI tools, and to the visiting audience.
All work in the studio is done in full view of the public, with complete exposure of process and practice. Nothing is edited, nothing is staged. Visitors are invited to observe unique workflows, integrate into events, and influence the work as it happens.
Research & Documentation
The studio operates as part of the Tel Aviv Biennale of Deeds and Days 2026, and accompanies the action with research — documentation, formulation, and the return of design processes back into the fields of teaching, discussion, and practice. The biennale's name is drawn from Hesiod's epic poem Works and Days, written in the 8th century BCE.
