Katia Rabey
Jewelry Design
[About]
Katia Rabey is a jewelry artist, designer, and curator born in Moscow, Russia. She graduated from the Jewelry Design Department at Shenkar College in 2017. Her work combines traditional craftsmanship with digital technologies, vibrant colors, playful forms, and a strong sense of humor.
Since she has her first degree in literature, Rabey often incorporates words and language into her jewelry work, alongside characters, faces, and other narrative elements. Her practice moves between precious and non-precious materials and explores jewelry as a medium for storytelling, communication, and play.
Rabey’s work has been exhibited in Israel and internationally and is held in permanent collections of museums and galleries. Alongside her independent jewelry practice, she has curated exhibitions in Israel and abroad and has participated in a variety of collaborative and interdisciplinary projects.
