Roni Fahima
Illustration and Textile Design
[About]
Roni Fahima is an illustrator, comic artist, animator and lecturer whose practice moves between drawing, graphic storytelling, animation and textile-based work. A graduate of the Visual Communication Department at Shenkar, where she currently teaches, Fahima works across independent, editorial, performative and collaborative contexts.
Her work explores the possibilities of drawing as a narrative and spatial medium, shifting between the intimacy of the page and larger-scale visual environments. Alongside illustrating books for children and young adults, she has created comics and animation, worked on visual projects for dance productions, and is a co-founder of Scrawl, an independent magazine dedicated to illustration and comics.
Her work has been exhibited in leading cultural institutions, including the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.
